Does anyone find a connection between higher levels of stress/anxiety and flare-ups? I haven't worked full-time for awhile, but have found that when I do work a full day or something stressful happens, my symptoms tend to worsen.

I think you'll find everyone has this result. Work, exercise and general getting about set things of. Stress can cause the muscles to tense and respiration to increase. Both of these things simulate exercise. I'm sure Pete can jump on this and give us the reasons but, in my experience as the TAM progresses the activity diminishes. A little gentle movement is beneficial but, expecting to hike 20 miles is going to result in trouble. Having said that TAM affects everyone differently Some may never even know they have the condition.

This maybe because when you are stressed you are tense. Tensing muscles is work to them so same result. Best thing is, don't give too many hoots about stuff you can't fix (I think you have to be an Aussie to accomplish this with any great level of skill). Relax and chill when you can. Shoulders down and breathe quietly in through your nose and out through your mouth. Think of all the things you have accomplished (you can count waking up in the morning amongst these, many people don't)and reflect on those instead of the things you have no control over or no means to change. I hope this doesn't come over as condescending, it is not my intention to minimalise your problems or worries. I find this helps me and if it helps you too that would be great.

I take a supplement against stress. In the past, I always had trouble with being too stressed out by everything and this is very unhealthy. Stress is a big factor when it comes to every sort of deseases. Besides some changes in lifestyle (working less, doing yoga etc.), I also think that Myo Inositol ( liftmode.com/health-promoting/inositol.html) helps me with that issue.

There are various herbal supplements that can help. I suppose it will vary from country to country. Here in the UK, we have things like "Rescue Remedy" "Kalms" and Valerian. There are many others but these I found readily available. What supplements do you find helpful?

Good recommendations for the treatment of nerves, but I did not see the use of CBD oil in the tips. But it is CBD oil that really helps to quickly overcome nervous disorders. For myself, I bought CBD and I really liked it. I got double the pleasure of taste and relaxation.

CBD is still in it's infancy here in UK. I think for many there are the overtones of cannabis as a "recreational" drug.I don't know if any doctors here are prescribing CBD oil but, it does seem to have mixed reviews.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I guess we all should try something new and unusual, meet new people as it will distract us. I believe that various games, for example, Monopoly and guess who's editing my advertising can be very helpful in that case. You can search other sites or games on the Internet as well, if you are interested in it.

For crying out loud; that's a casino advertisement. I've seen their spam on other forums.

Thanks Craig, that's creative. We could also recommend Gamblers Anonymous for those who become addicted to online casinos.
