My hands are not working well, so I will keep this short. I read an article on CoQ10 that says drugs for high cholesterol drastically reduce the bodies level of C0Q10. I have a website I can post if you all approve. The point being made is that C0Q10 is one of your bodies defenses against pain, particularly muscle pain. I was wondering how many with TAM take cholesterol reducing meds and wonder if stopping them, or taking a C0Q10 supplement might help us like Verapamil. What do you think?

Doing some follow up research, fact or fiction, and I found this on livestrong.com
...There has been inconclusive research on the benefits of CoQ10's effects on joint pain, but it has been shown to benefit exercise, physical exertion tolerance and comfort in moving with individuals who have muscular ailments, according to LPI. This hasn't been proven to cross over into healthier individuals who have regular joint pain.
They also talk about supplemental doses between 30-100mg and therapeutical doses around 300mg per day. They also mention doses as high as 1200mg per day with no bad side-effects.

Turns out my regular doctor, the one I refer to as my coach, did prescribe a CoQ10 supplement some time ago. Somewhere along the way I stopped (probably forgot) to keep taking it. So this week 3-8-2015 I started taking it again. I'm taking 100 mg in the morning & 100 mg before bed. I'll follow up later with resuts.
At the same time, I decided to try another natural drug, SAMe, that my doctor prescribed. It is also supposed to help with muscle health in part. I'm taking 400 mg a day. Again, I will follow up.
Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, I've also decided to start listening to my body. For months, maybe years, I've been taking drugs to relieve the pain and then continuing to do things that further tax my muscles. As you all are well aware, this just hastens the damage. For me, that means the relative end to many projects I am doing. It means that I now have just two hours total a day I can be on my feet and do any kind of exertion. I know I should be grateful I have that, and I am, it's just a hard blow all at once. Those of you who have passed through this point in the disease know where I am coming from. For the rest of you, heed your body's warnings and stop when you feel pain.
