Oh my God you have got to be kidding me! BARBED WIRE COLLECTING WOW! I live on the old home place and from time to time I will find a piece of wire that my grandpa used to fence in the animals. Very cool georger I will definitely look in to this more. Thanks ET.

The chainsaw site is pretty cool. I have two old chainsaws, one a Stihl from the late 70's or early 80's, the other a little Remmington from the early 80's. Both are in working condition. I still use the little one from time to time because it is very light. I've been told the big old Stihl is worth over $100.

This is nothing about chainsaws, but is definitely off topic. It's just an example of how life goes on despite TAM.
I've started brewing scrumpy at home in the tradition of my ancestors from the West Country. The alcohol content in the first 2 batches was absolutely sky high and I am currently brewing a batch with no added sugar in the hope of bringing it down. It can only get better. Are there any more TAM folk brewing scrumpy?

Scrumpy? Aha, you are not from the West Country then? There is a long tradition there of brewing still cloudy cider, a subset of what is known in some overseas countries as hard cider. And yes you could distill out the alcohol and add it to petrol in your chainsaw. But ethyl alcohol a gas? You must live in a very hot place. Anyway, homebrewing of scrumpy is great fun.

Scrumpy Cider, well now we know why your buggy throws you in the gutter. Can you be busted for driving an electric scooter under the influence? I made some cider once but, I forgot and it was cooking and it brewed out. It was so strong that we put it on a cold stone floor of the cellar and tiptoed passed it. I eventually found a hardened cider drinker to try it out. He said it was lovely but had to fit a seat belt to the toilet ready for the next one.
